Adult Day Service
Adult Day Services is dedicated to providing quality, caring and a reliable alternative to institutional care that serves the needs of individuals, families and the community.
What is Adult Day Services?
- To help maintain the frail adult in his/her home and community.
- To provide support and respite for families who are caring for their dependent older relative.
- To combat isolation with contact, support and enrichment.
Eligibility
Persons 18 years of age and older, who:
- Are unable to live independently
- Need support and help in their daily activities
- Are unable to participate in programs for independent seniors
- Would benefit from the social experience and stimulation
of this personal program
Members of the Adult Day Service’s will enjoy activities including:
- Adaptive physical exercise
- Music programs
- Arts & crafts projects
- Discussions on current events, and times of reminiscing
- Visits from many community volunteers of all ages
- Transportation.
- Services offered Monday through Friday 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Breakfast and hot nutritious lunches and beverages are available throughout the day.
Fees
Fees for participation are determined by a sliding scale based upon each participant’s, level of care of participant and the number of hours attended per day (range is $21.00- $52.00 per day). For individuals who need assistance Social Security Block Grant and CHOICE Funding is available. We are also a Medicaid Waiver provider. No one is excluded from this program due to inability to pay fees.
