For over 60 years, Carver Community Organization has dedicated itself to helping others help themselves by enabling them to strengthen their self-sufficiency,
build stronger families, and contribute to an improved community. We understand that there is so many demands on everyone's time and resources that we
offer a variety of ways you can make a difference to Carver:
Make a charitable contribution. Cash gifts, which are essential to the organization, are the most convenient form of giving. In certain situations,
gifts of securities, real estate, and other tangible property and assets can provide tax savings to the donor and be extremely beneficial to Carver. Donate now
through our online donation system.
Make a tribute or memorial gift. Consider making gifts in honor or in memory of someone or to celebrate a special event.
Donate a service or good. What kinds of donated items can the center use?
- Sports equipment
- Art supplies
- Educational books and videos
- New electronic or computer equipment, or used computers that have at least a Pentium III processor and 128 MB of RAM.
- Prizes for Senior Games
- Office furniture, including folding tables, filing cabinets, desks & chairs, etc.
Please keep in mind that we have limited storage space and pickup abilities.
Volunteer. You are always welcome to volunteer to assist with one of the many programs offered by Carver.
Sponsor a Fund-Raiser. In the past, private groups and individuals have organized various events as fund-raising activities.
Have your gift matched by your company. Your gift to Carver can be doubled (or more) if your company has a matching gift program. Your Human Resource Department may have more information.
Remember Carver in your estate planning. A bequest to Carver involves no immediate loss of capital or income, and tax benefits minimize the ultimate cost to one's heirs.
