RSVP Volunteer Program

Seniors looking to get involved can lead with experience in the Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP). Participants apply their skills, talents, and wisdom at public agencies and local non-profits where help is needed most.

RSVP is a national program for seniors over 55 which is supported by the Corporation for National and Community Service and locally by Carver Community Organization.

Benefits for you and those you serve

Volunteers determine their own schedule whether it is a few hours a month or several hours each week.

  • Placement, orientation, and training are provided to ensure success.
  • There is no cost or membership fee to join RSVP.
  • Travel assistance is provided through METS Mobility and METS bus service.
  • Volunteers are covered under excess volunteer insurance at no cost.
